The process of getting a tattoo
If you are new to Tattoo Studio Miyabi, please read through the following information to see how the tattooing process works.
【1】Before making an appointment
Decide on the design you would like to have engraved as much as possible.
It will make the counseling session go more smoothly if you can provide us with something that conveys the image of the design (e.g., images found on the Internet, magazine clippings, photographs, accessories, rough drawings, etc.).
In addition, you should also decide to some extent on the area and size you would like to have engraved.
【2】Make an appointment
Once you have some idea of the design you want, make an appointment. We do not allow customers under the age of 18. (Including 18 year olds who are in high school)
As a general rule, appointments are required, so please contact us first using the contact form.
We can also accommodate walk-ins, depending on the availability of appointments, but please understand that we may not be able to accommodate such requests.
If you make an appointment via DM on Instagram, a consultation is not required. If you send us your desired subject matter, we will design it for you. Even if you do not have a clear design in mind, we can discuss and decide on a design based on your general image. Please note that we cannot copy your work, regardless of whether it is from our store or another store.
【3】Things to keep in mind the day before the tattooing
Please refrain from drinking alcohol, as it increases blood flow, which can lead to poor inking and bleeding.
Also, please make sure to eat and sleep well, as not eating and sleeping may cause pain.
【4】 The day of tattooing
Finally, it is the day of the tattooing.
You may be nervous, but you may listen to music or watch videos as long as you do not move during the tattoo procedure.
Some clients bring pillows or blankets, so please bring something to relax yourself with.
Basically, we take a break every hour, but if you feel sick or need to use the restroom, please let us know right away.
【5】After tattooing
After the tattooing procedure is completed, aftercare instructions will be provided.
